Ferrari is set to expand its global motorsport presence with the launch of the Ferrari Challenge Australasia series in 2025. The Ferrari Challenge Australasia series will debut in 2025 with a five-round calendar. The inaugural season will kick off at Mount Panorama, Bathurst, on January 31-February 2, 2025. Other confirmed venues include Phillip Island (April 4-6) and Sydney Motorsport Park (May 23-25).
The series will feature the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo for its first season. Plans are in place to introduce the newer Ferrari 296 Challenge car in future seasons. The championship is designed as an entry point for Ferrari owners into motorsport.It offers a pathway to higher levels of Ferrari racing, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The series is part of Ferrari's global Challenge program, which includes North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions.
Ferrari Australasia will manage the series locally, supported by the global Ferrari Competizioni GT team. The championship aims to blend competitive racing with the lifestyle aspects of Ferrari ownership.
