The investment will help households and businesses reduce running costs while improving long-distance EV travel convenience. Fast and ultra-fast chargers being installed are capable of charging EV batteries from **10% to 80% in just 10–15 minutes**, significantly reducing downtime for drivers. ## Features for Accessibility and Long-Distance Travel Many of the new chargers will include **pull-through bays** designed to accommodate EVs towing caravans, boats, or trailers. Some sites will also feature **accessible charging points** to support drivers with a disability. ## 38 Suburbs to Benefit Chargers will be installed across 38 locations in both metropolitan and regional NSW. The rollout is supported by five companies: **BP, Energy Australia, Plus ES, Tesla, and NRMA**.
