[Toyota](https://www.carexplore.com.au/tag/toyota/) has announced two separate recalls affecting **147,000 vehicles** in the United States, citing potential safety risks. The recalls involve **rear brake hose damage** in Tacoma models and **seatbelt defects** in select Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

## **Rear Brake Hose Recall – 2024-25 Toyota Tacoma**

The **largest recall** affects **106,000** **Toyota Tacoma** 4WD vehicles from the **2024-2025 model years**. The issue involves **rear brake hoses** that may become **damaged over time**, especially with **mud and debris buildup** in the rear wheels.

A **brake fluid leak** caused by hose damage could **increase the risk of an accident**. Toyota dealers will **replace the affected brake hoses free of charge** to resolve the issue.

## **Seatbelt Recall – Toyota Camry, Lexus NX, and RX**

A second recall involves **46,000 vehicles**, where the **second-row center seatbelt** may have sustained **damage during manufacturing**. Affected seatbelts may **fail to meet strength requirements**, potentially compromising safety.

Toyota and Lexus dealers will **inspect and replace** the seatbelt assembly if necessary.
