The Allan Labor Government is providing eight days of free public transport to Victorian Seniors Card holders during the Victorian Seniors Festival in October 2025. The initiative will run from Sunday, 5 October to Sunday, 12 October 2025.

Free Travel Details
- Eligible travellers: Victorian Seniors Card holders
- Travel period: 5–12 October 2025
- Applies to:
- Metro and regional trains
- Trams
- Buses
- Coach services
- Travel process:
- Seniors must carry their Seniors Card.
- On myki services: touch on and off as normal; no fare will be charged.
- On non-myki services: show Seniors Card to the driver or conductor.
Future Transport Access
From 1 January 2026, free weekend travel will be extended statewide for all Victorian Seniors Card holders. This change will benefit more than 650,000 seniors across the state.
