Cadillac Unveils Its First Australian Experience Centre in Style
Cadillac enthusiasts, get ready! The iconic American luxury brand is making waves Down Under with the announcement of its first Australian experience centre. This move marks a significant milestone as Cadillac gears up to introduce its luxurious lineup to Australian shores.
A New Era Begins in Rosebery
Cadillac is set to transform an 841m² space within the trendy Rosebery Engine Yards retail and lifestyle precinct into a state-of-the-art experience centre. This heritage-listed site in Sydney’s inner south is known for its vibrant mix of social and shopping venues, making it the perfect backdrop for Cadillac’s Australian debut.
The new centre will boast five garaged and seven external branded parking bays, three secure undercover servicing bays, multiple delivery bays, and cutting-edge vehicle service facilities. This will allow Cadillac to offer a premium experience to its customers, aligning with its commitment to luxury and innovation.
First of Its Kind in Australia
This will be Cadillac’s inaugural experience centre in Australia, with plans already in motion to establish a similar centre in Melbourne. The brand is also extending its reach across the Tasman Sea with an upcoming centre in Auckland, New Zealand.
Jess Bala, General Motors Australia and New Zealand managing director, expressed her excitement about the new venture: “It feels natural to bring Australia’s first Cadillac Experience Centre to such a contemporary, open, and authentic space. It’s a pleasure to be able to invite guests closer to one of the world’s great brands, where they can experience the luxury evolution of Cadillac first-hand.
Cadillac’s Electric Future
Cadillac’s entry into the Australian market kicks off this year, starting with the highly anticipated all-electric Lyriq SUV. This move signals Cadillac’s commitment to a sustainable future while delivering the luxury and performance the brand is renowned for.
There’s also buzz about the potential arrival of the Optiq and Vistiq SUVs, though only the Optiq has been confirmed for right-hand drive production at this stage. Ms. Bala hasn’t ruled out the possibility of bringing petrol-powered models like the iconic Escalade V8 to Australia, but official confirmation is still pending.
A Glimpse into Cadillac’s Vision
The Lyriq, currently being produced in right-hand drive at Cadillac’s Tennessee factory, will join the Chevrolet Corvette as one of GM’s only factory-produced right-hand drive models for the Australian market. This strategic move highlights Cadillac’s dedication to catering to the preferences of Australian drivers.
Cadillac’s presence at the Rosebery Engine Yards will offer prospective buyers a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the brand’s heritage and future vision. As the new centre prepares to open its doors, excitement is building among car enthusiasts eager to experience Cadillac’s luxury and innovation firsthand.
