Electric vehicle drivers in New South Wales will soon have access to an additional 549 kerbside chargers across 130 suburbs. This is supported by a $2.8 million investment from the Minns Labor Government.

Purpose of the Expansion
The new chargers are designed to make EV charging more accessible for residents without off-street parking, such as those living in apartments and high-density housing areas. This supports NSW’s legislated net zero emissions targets and helps lower household transport costs.
Funding and Partners
The $2.8 million in EV Kerbside Charging Grants have been allocated to five recipients: Charge Post, Connected Kerb, EVX, Plus ES, and EF Asset Management. These companies will contribute an additional $2.2 million in private investment to install the chargers.
