Tesla has officially launched its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system in Australia and New Zealand, marking the first right-hand drive markets to receive the technology. The announcement follows a public demonstration in Brisbane earlier in 2025.

Availability and Compatibility
The system is now available for:
- Tesla Model 3 and Model Y
- Vehicles equipped with Hardware 4 (HW4)
Customers who previously purchased Full Self-Driving Capability will receive the update starting Thursday via over-the-air software rollout.

System Capabilities
FSD (Supervised) is an advanced driver assistance feature requiring continuous supervision. It includes:

Supervision and Safety Features
- The system is not autonomous.

Demonstration and Test Drives
Media conducted a test of a pre-release build in Brisbane using a Model 3 Highland several weeks ago. The system demonstrated the ability to manage various road scenarios under driver supervision.
